(re)searching the pulse of time

PULSE was founded in Bremen (northern-germany) in 2019 and is dedicated to both the performance of contemporary works in a cross-cultural context and the realization of novel creative projects that deliberately transcend the conventional boundaries of its genre and experiment with innovation, originality, ideas and new concepts. PULSE aims to highlight sources of inspiration and connections across the centuries, cultural similarities, differences and how to deal with them in order to bridge existing social and aesthetic divides. PULSE also stands for the rhythm of time, so current electronic possibilities of sound generation and processing and their connection with the string instruments are sought: a sonic image and reflection of the time we live in.
